Maxwell Anders, Charlie Gold, and Sommer Bailey discuss their dating experiences and open up about Dicks on a very uncomfortable episode of Dating and The Big D. The gang welcomes guest Asher Kane from Dallas, Texas.
Catching up on the last week's dating encounters...
Barbecue Boy: Charlie rage quit Tinder again after about four days. She had been on a few dates with "Barbecue Boy." Their first date was at Lakewood Smokehouse in Dallas, hence the moniker, and they had their second date at Toasted in Dallas. Jerk, ghosted her! Did he ghost her or did he ghost himself? However, for the sake of her big badass womanliness, she got back on Tinder, aaaaaaaaand is now talking to some weirdos. Tinder Plus was momentarily invoked because we accidentally left swiped on the Mr. Right (or Right Now) and couldn't get him back. Oh the carousel of love that are the dating apps!
D-Bag: Sommer had a date on South Side on Lamar District in Dallas with a world-class D-bag from SMU she met at a professional mixer. Dude did not even offer to buy her drink. She did ask him out, but c'mon at least offer, right? What is the norm nowadays regardless of gender identity and sexual orientation? Is it Dutch? He went on and on about his Beamer, job, money, and how he has traveled the world. Sommer graciously excused herself and ended the date. Asher commented that this guy was exhibiting Small Dick Energy.
Unicorn Boy: Max recounts the events of Halloween at work. Competing with his team, he dressed up as the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. He noticed the cutest guy ever dressed up as a princess riding an inflated unicorn. A few days later Max runs into him at the cafe at work in line paying at the cashier. Max just blurts out, "Hey it's the cutest unicorn ever!" Too late to do anything about it, Max introduces himself to Unicorn Boy and they start chatting. Talk about getting out of your comfort zone.
This week's topic is Dicks. Whether he or she has one or not, dicks come in all shapes and sizes. How much does dick matter? Does genitalia define a man? Does a man have a flower too? Are we able to have open and candid discussions regarding penis, vagina, or anus?
Girth vs length? Bulbous head vs shielded like a baby kangaroo?
Charlie reminds Max of the This is Spinal Tap Movie Party at attended at Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson. They dressed as punks and wore pleather pants. Max is rather endowed and the pants were too tight so he had to go to the ER because of extreme pain. Ouch!
If we are uncomfortable talking about sex, STDs, and our sex organs, then when do we have those conversations? It's important that we have those conversations with our partners. Max and Ash share about their experiences with dating and sex in the gay community where topics of HIV/AIDS come up. Know your status and respect your partners

Call to Action: Dicks are everywhere. We love them and sometime can’t get enough of them. It’s a two-edged sword. We can use our bodies for pleasure and possibly connection or we can use our bodies a tools and objects. Can we honest about our bodies with ourselves and others? Whichever you choose is up to you.
